How do I book a training course?

Firstly you will need to be a registered user. Once registered you can search and browse for courses that you may wish to attend (in the same way as an unregistered user. Once you have found a course, click the 'apply' button.)

Complete the form presented to you (if you have completed your profile details, this form will be auto filled).

All done!

How do I cancel my place on a course?

If you have booked yourself onto a course by accident or can no longer attend please email the i-Share Administrator who will be able to remove you.

Can I book a course at any of the councils?

Yes you can. i-share is all about the sharing of resources across public sector organisations.

How do I pay for the course?

To register for a course you will need a valid purchase order number from your line manager or finance department. This purchase number will be externally verified prior to the course commencing.

How will I receive course information?

If there are any pre-course materials or documents, you will find them automatically listed under your 'My Documents' section.

Will the course be accredited?

It depends on the course/ training that is being offered. Please check th course details carefully before applying.

How do I ask a question to another user?

Questions are all dealt with in the 'questions' section after you have logged in.
To ask a question you will need to select the 'ask' tab on the in-page navigation. There is a form with the option to ask a question 'to the community' or to one of your contacts via a drop-down menu (automatically populated with your contacts).

How do I make a contact?

You search or browse for a contact in the contacts section of the website. Once you have found somebody, you click the 'add contact' button and a request is sent off.
If your request is accepted, your new contact will be added to your contact list.

How do I set up my personal profile page?

The profile page is an important part of the system. The more details you fill in here, the more accurately the system will be able to suggest courses relevant to your profile details. All details are edited via the 'edit profile' page in the 'Profile' section of the site
